The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is a government agency in the Philippines that was created on May 18, 1994, through Republic Act No. 7722. Its main job is to oversee and regulate colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions across the country, ensuring they meet quality standards.

One of CHED’s notable scholarship programs is the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP), which provides financial assistance to qualified Filipino students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in CHED-recognized programs.

The goal of this program is to help students continue and complete their college or tertiary education by offering scholarships to those who meet the eligibility requirements.

Program’s Grants and Benefits

The program provides successful applicants with several benefits to help them throughout their college education.

Grantees or student beneficiaries will receive a financial grant of fifteen thousand pesos (Php 15,000) per academic year or seven thousand five hundred pesos (Php 7,500) per semester.
