The Tulong Dunong Program (TDP), also called CHED-TDP, is one of the scholarship programs offered by CHED. It aims to support eligible Filipino students in continuing their education in the Philippines.
Congressman Eric Yap of Benguet recently announced on Facebook the opening of the Youth Assistance Program (YAP) CHED Tulong Dunong Scholarship program for the 2024-2025 academic year. He invites all interested and eligible freshmen college students from Benguet, enrolled in any undergraduate program for SY 2024-2025, to apply.
Qualifications
- To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident of Benguet.
- Open to all freshmen enrolled in any 4-year course.
- Must not be a scholar of any existing government-funded assistance.
- Applicant must have combined household gross income not exceeding PhP 400,000.
- The grantee must eb enrolled in any first undergraduate degree in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), CHED-Recognized Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), and CHED-Registered Private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Documentary Requirements
- Accomplished Application Form – 2 copies of Accomplished TDP-TES Application Form with 2×2 ID pic attached; (Click here to download the form)
- Proof of Enrollment – 1 original & 1 photocopy of Certificate of Registration or Enrollment of 1st Sem QY 2024-2025 (Certified True Copy will do)
- Certificate of Indigency of Parents/Guardian – 1 original and 1 photocopy of Certificate of Indigency as proof of income duly signed by the Punong Barangay where the applicant resides. (Purpose: Financial Assistance).
How to Apply to YAP CHED-TDP
All interested and eligible applicants can apply for the CHED Tulong Dunong Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 school year by downloading the application form online and submitting it along with the required documents to the District Office.

Important Points to Note:
Here are some key things to remember when applying for the YAP CHED TDP Scholarship Program:
- Submit your application at the District Office starting August 5, 2024.
- The deadline has not been announced yet, but applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to apply as early as possible.
- CHED will validate and assess all applications. Once approved, you will remain a scholar until you complete your 4-year course—no need to reapply every year.
- No matter where you’re from or your background, as long as you’re from Benguet, you’re qualified! So, go ahead and apply!
