Step 2: Ready Your Application Documents

Once you’ve identified the position you want to apply for, prepare the following essential documents:

  • Application Letter: Address your letter to the Chief of the Human Resource Management Division.
    • Mention the specific job title and position item you are applying for, and indicate if you’re open to other available positions.
  • Personal Data Sheet (PDS): Complete the PDS form under oath, along with a recent passport-sized photo, and the Work Experience Sheet. Download these forms below:
  • Eligibility Documents: Include scanned, authenticated copies of your Civil Service Commission (CSC) eligibility, BAR or board rating, or professional license (if applicable).
  • Educational Credentials: Submit scanned, authenticated copies of your Transcript of Records and Diploma.
  • Post-Graduate Certifications: If applicable, provide a certification for units earned in post-graduate studies (Master’s or Doctoral).
  • Training and Seminar Certificates: Include scanned copies of certificates for any relevant seminars or training programs you’ve attended.

 
  • Employment Records: Submit scanned copies of your service records or certificates of employment from previous employers.
  • Performance Rating: If applicable, include a scanned copy of your performance rating from the last rating period.
  • List of Relatives in DOTr: Disclose if you have any relatives currently employed at the DOTr.
  • Other Credentials: Attach documents like awards, innovations, authorship, or any involvement in notable projects or programs.

Step 3: Register Your Application Online

All applications must be submitted through the DOTr-Central Office Online Application portal.

Step 4: Complete the Background Check Authorization

To proceed with your application, you must fill out and submit the Background Check Authorization Form.
